Family

My family is everything to me. My oldest son is a successful supervisor for UPS, my oldest daughter has her MBA in Business Administration and is currently in Law School. Then we have my youngest son who is killing it as a successful salesman in a roofing company, and my youngest daughter who has taken after her momma and works as a secretary.

I can not express how proud I am of all my children and the accomplishments they have made thus far. They continue to blow me away with their achievements.

My husband works as an Environmental Inspector on pipelines and is so understanding and supportive. He gives me the opportunity to run my business from home and supports it, which is so important to me. He has a hobby of restoring old C-10 pickups, and we go to car shows when we have the time.

Let’s not forget about the 4-legged babies.  They are just as much family as anyone. I have 2 yellow labs: Zeke and baby Zoi; and 2 Morkies: Bella and Bocephus (aka Bobo). Bella is my shadow, all 8 pounds of her. Bobo is the king of the house, or so he thinks! Zeke is the whinny baby of the group, and gets everything off the counters! Then we have the the baby Zoi, who joined us Christmas of 2020. She is as precious as she looks.

They are my co-workers most days, and companions everyday!

Crafts and DIY

I have been crocheting since I was a teenager (which as been a minute) and I love making baby things (afghans, baby booties, baby hats, etc.).  I have been crocheting since I was a teenager (which as been a minute) and I love making baby things (afghans, baby booties, baby hats, etc.).

I am big on DIY (doing it yourself) no matter what it is. From a Lego table from my grandson, to faux painting the interior of my house; I like the challenge of doing it myself unless it requires special skills I do not possess of course!

Wine with Friends

Hanging with Friends

My other hobby would be getting together with my friends and catching up over a glass of wine! It is important to have those friends that have your back no matter what, and are there for you in good times and bad, and that is the group of friends I have. I am the level-headed one in the group, most of the time. They would probably describe me as kind-hearted, faithful, sincere, helpful, and crafty.

Passions

Helen G Williams - Grandmother

I am passionate about honesty, doing the right thing, and loving to your fullest. Being your best YOU, means not letting the negativity interfere with your daily life.

Choose to be positive and positivity will choose you.

My grandmother was a saint and a great role model.  I miss her dearly.

Blalock Confidential - Butterfly

Butterflies!  I love butterflies because they remind me of my grandmother, and of all the other loved ones we have lost.

Blalock Jeep

My other passion is my Jeep. I usually drive trucks (top-of-the-line of course), but I have had my Jeep Rubicon since 2018 and I absolutely love it! It’s not the smoothest ride, but it makes me feel confident and adventurous!  And just look at it, how can you not love it!

Background

I was born in Texas, grew up in Texas, and currently live in Texas. I am a Texan through and through. My career has taken me out of Texas several times, but I have always come back to the Lone Star State. I love living in Texas with all its humidity, heat, hurricanes, and 2 seasons.  We have Summer and NOT Summer.

I started my career when I was in high school as the age of computers was just beginning, starting out in Word Processing at a Life Insurance Company. I moved to New Jersey and worked as a secretary, coming back to Texas and found a job working as a Word Processor.  I quickly moved into a Supervisor role at the age of 21 (older than the people I was supervising).

Pipeline

I then found my position at a Marine Seismic Company that became a 14-year career and not only defined many of my skills but also showed me what I love to do and know that I am good at it.  Once I told my boss I would be leaving that job, he asked me to stay on as a consultant for the next 8 months to make sure there was a smooth transition.  That showed me how much he valued me and my work. I’ve always been in high-demand and when having to leave a position or company, wanted to be cloned.

From there I moved with my husband working on pipelines, having to chase the project from state to state. We moved from Louisiana to Mississippi, to Ohio, back to Texas, to Kansas, to Oklahoma, and then back home, you guessed it, to TEXAS.

Why I Started My Business

How did I get where I am now?  That brings me back to the family.  My mother-in-law was sick while I was working in another state. She lived with us and my husband was having a hard time with her care on his own, so I decided to quit my job and stay home to take care of her.

She had chemo and radiation visits, surgery, and medication that had to be managed, and I wanted to make sure her days were as stress-free and peaceful as I could make them.

God took her to continue her journey and I decided I would stay home and build a business that would give me purpose. Using my skills and knowledge to help others makes me happy. I think that is why God gave me the abilities, to help others.

I would love to use those abilities to help you!
